Difference between dx and ev engine code

My engines shot to pieces and ive been offered an ev engine
Is this a simple swap?

same lump dude! only difference is if your old lump is an early dx its solid lifters, ev is hydro.

depending on age of your car/donor you may have an extra vacuum nipple/pipe between pistons 3 & 4, just cap this off. its for the injector air shrouding system on the later k-jet engines
