Chapter 3 Karma Running Well

As you may know Karma and me have now been together for about 6 months.
1 day of owning expansion ruptures, overheating etc!
Over 1st two weeks replaced:
Expansion tank.
Hoses.
Water Pump.
Radiators.
Hose.
Cam Belt .

20 MPG

Next 2 months came starting issues:
So a new Starter installed.
Loads of electrics sorted (earth issues).
Serviced Oil, filter, etc

24 MPG

Tune up at the garage and advised all new vacuim hoses needed so on they went

28 MPG

Then we had xmas looming so she only Got a New Tyre and a New Space Saver that Month.

22 MPG (The Cold Weather).

January has seen running issues so new airfilter and a carb clean etc.

30 MPG

Also when the guy fitted the water pump back in august he decided not to put thermostat in.

Today fitted a new thermostat and guess what ……….





Running Hot …………… Lucky I fitted a Over ride switch!

Why ! is this a yearly cycle and is it life with a Mk1 Dub!  :dontknow:

air lock in the water system dodgy stat how far does the temp needle go up??

Turns out after reading a few threads on here that just right of red light is normal, so all cool!

But I have Sold it now and have left the world of Dubz, Thanking all for their time and frienship but have for another 1st bough a old Pug shame on me !
