Carburetor problem! Please HELP!!

Hi,

I sign in to your forum, becouse i have problems
with my Volkswagen Golf MK1.
It's a 1.5L engine year 1983.
51Kw 69ps.

The problem is:
I bought my car last year and discovered that the previos owner did some changes!!
He took out original carburetor and all that comes with him (vacuum ball, vapor eliminator).

He put it carburetor from "Yugo". it's a old single barrel Weber, but don't know the markings..
Not 36 TLP for sure!!!

I found the original carburetor. it's a Pierburg 1b3.
I try to buy it on german eBAY, but the seller told me that this carb is for
50-55kw motor. and that the original number of this carb. coincides with
passat 1.6L.

I did some research and i found that the Weber 36 TLP is replacement for Pierburg 1b3.
This type of Weber carb replaces both, Passat 1.6L and Golf/Jetta/Scirocco 1.5L.

My question is:
Can I put Pierburg 1b3 from this link (passat 1.6L)
on my Golf Mk1 1.5 L '83

If this carburetor is ok to be instaled in my car, I'll buy it!!
