Car not starting while engine is hot

Been having loads of problems with the car lately the new problem is that the car won't start at all when got. The start clicks and dose nothing. It's a brand new starter and battery and even tried to give it a few wacks but nothing. Like I said after it being sat all night it will start up ?? If anyone cod help that will be great cheers

is it getting far too hot?as it wont start if too hot.also check youre fuel pressure when hot asuming its a jjet gti

No normal temp :/ and its a 1.5 auto carb changed the starter again the garage said it was another faulty starter two starters faulty in a row just don't sound right

have you checked the choke aint jamming on,i take its the original carb,also check for dodgey connection at fuel pump cut of,dont know what you have or havnt checked so i could narrow the fault down for you,hope you get to the bottom of it,if not tell me what you have tried as i used to work for vw

fit a relay to the solonoid wire, its a common mod for autos (also an approved mod by vw themselves)

Like johnny say's I had a auto and it did the same.

the exhaust manifold runs close to the starter so heats it up and it gets cooked. Fine when been left standing.

It's called the heat soak relay mod. Link below may help you. ignore the jetta bit lol.
