Car not starting

Ive been trying to figure out why my car wont start when its been left for a day or so. Once when it did this i left it for a day, then i put jump leads on and it started fine and when its running when its cold it misfires. Also the head gasket has been done recenty and the oil pressure light comes on when its cold. Does anyone know why its not starting again? Its a 1.5 Gx by the way, thanks.

need more details really.

Does it fire at all and not start, or not even fire?
Does it turn over onthe starter OK?
Is there a smell of petrol at the carb?
Does it run better when hot?

If the head gasket has just been done, you need to checkthe oil and coolant levels too.

Yeah it turns over fine, you can hear it trying to fire sometimes.Yeah you can smell petrol, and  it runs much better when its hot.
I thought that there might have been dirt  in the fuel lines but you can see the fuel going through the fuel filter

And the oil and coolant levels are fine
