Bike Carb Manifold

Done a quick search but couldn't find an answer..

Im fitting some Yamaha carbs to my mk1 16v, and wondered what the best/cheapest way of making a manifold was? Silicone hoses from a hacked up stock 16v inlet manifold?

If anyone has made one themselves could i have some pics/measurements?

Cheers,

Tom.

I've seen the chopped manifold thing done, wasn't the neatest of conversions but it worked.
If you do go down this route you need to make sure all the inlets are the same length.
Not too sure how the air flow would be either if you were using silicone hoses over the manifold tubes unless you can get the carb to butt up to the manifold.
def. cheap but not sure gains will be that great, but it will sound good  :)

Projekt Frustration :

White 1991 Clipper. Lowered over polished zender rims, Single 40 dellorto on lynx manifold, kent cam, full stainless 'zorst / manifold, powerflex bushed and braced. Not the fastest car, but sounds super nice!

Still going after 12 years… never said it was a quick fix! Time is not my friend.
