Hi,

and now i have other problem with starting..

the car is cranking but won't start..

so i went to mechanic and he checked the spark leads and he says theres sparks from

coil but no sparks from dizzy.. check the point.

and he said dizzy failure. need to replace the whole dizzy

is it true? just suddenly dizzy stuffs like this?

im paniccing at the moment. im from korea.

its really hard to get a new dizzy.

any idea please? any other reasons might be??

i need some advices from golf mk1 experts..

please help me!

I wouldn't say I'm an expert but defo check spark plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm and point the ignition system basically before a dizzy as the cost for you would be far greater

if it was left with the ignition on you may have killed the coil
