Best engine oil for 1.6 carb golf

What engine oil wud you recomend for a 1986 1.6 carb engine golf cabrio that has done 92000 miles and runs well i'm about to change it for the first time since i brought it but not sure wats best for it :dontknow:

10w40 semi synthetic has my vote  :wink:

i will second the 10w40 semi synthetic.
personaly I use the stuff GSF supply.
