anyone got a pic of the water pump tensioner?

i have the 2litre bottom end and it had power steering, so the power steering pump was the tensioner, but i took the power steering pump of and chucked it  :banghead:  thinking nothing of it, untill i came to fit my water pump belt, and…… how    lol so i am thinking if i kept the power steering pump i could have still used it as the tensioner just left it disconeted, but how is everyone elses set up??

chears,
simon

i always have the last laugh ;)

Your alternator becomes the belt tensioner , the power steering belt was driven off the crank via a double pulley this will have now been replaced with a single item to clear the MK1 chassis .

no its all still on there,

its in the hole intact with the double pully system, and i cant use the alternator pully as the water pump sticks out to far and the pullys will nit line up.

any more sugestions? because its got me scratching my head dont know about you.
