Keeps coming loose. 1.8 carb engine
Hi, apologies if this is a silly question.
Should the air box be loose, as in should it have movement if you put a little pressure under the box itself? The metal clip at times pops off mine but even when it is in place there is still movement.
Should there be another bracket/clip to secure it it place?
Any pics you could post to better describe would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

there should be a stud poking out the round bit on the front, attached to a metal bracket. so you'll need to find the bracket and replace the rubber front mount

Should look like this (if you can make it out) with a small triangular bracket that fits on the rocker cover, I'll get better pictures later if you want
And my airbox and bracket is now spare as I've fitted a weber and K&N if you're interested
