a new carb needed for my mk1 1800 cab

Hiya all
where is the best place to buy a webber carb to replace my old card  on my mk1 1800 golf cab `89 and what price should i pay??

New ones are ?225 odd - there's at least one seller of them on Ebay.  Crazy Quiff also sells them, but I don't know his prices.

I needed one and found it on a GTi forum - ?150 - but it came attached to a running Mk2 which I'm now scrapping.

Your best buying new, will not end up with possible problems, i.e mixture screw out etc, parts missing plus you have a garantee

A mate of mine is trying to get rid of a second hand one, it's in great nick, only done a couple of hundred miles and is clean as a whistle!

He's just done an engine conversion so it's no longer needed!
