82GL Cabby at last running but wont tick over?

Any advise please, got the car running from blockage in carb main jet, hooray! but, engine does not tick over, adjusted idle screw back and forth, but nothing (Pierburg Carb)  
Does anyone have any ideas to try out before calling in a mechanic ?

there are threads in the "how to" on how to set up you pieburgs

they are very troublesome beasts cheak all your vax pipes and carb flange
