1.6 engine

hey guys
just a quick one…
can you just drop a 1.6 engine into a 1.3 bay, and not have to change the loom or anything like that?

Nope

I looked at your other post and you put a "wanted" ad for a 1.3. If you want a 1.3, buy a 1.3, if you want a more powerful car, then they did the 1.5 carb as a hatchback and 1.5, 1.6, 1.8 carb as cabby (over the years) and also of course the GTI. The early hatchbacks were available in 1.6 too.

Or have you now bought a 1.3 and realise its too slow?
