1.5 JB engine with Pierburg 1B3 - which Weber is right?

Post

Looking to get rid of the troublesome Pierburg 1B3 with its auto choke problems. Engine code is JB and it's a 1.5 manual gearbox.

I think the right Weber carb is a 34 TLP, but can anyone confirm? I currently can't find one in stock but would be good to know what I'm looking out for.

Would a Weber 34 TLP with a manual choke be a suitable conversion, or is there another carb I should be looking out for?

Thanks in advance!
