1.5 carb/injetion

hello does anybody no if i can convert my 1.5 jb engin to injection/

Anything is possible, but for a cost vs improvement/benefit, it would not score highly.

If you simply bolted on GTI parts onto the 1.5 engine, then it wouldn't run right, since the metering head cone defines the air/fuel ratio over the operating range and this would likely be a mismatch for the different characteristics of the 1.5 (smaller capacity, lower compression, milder cam).

so do you know if the inlet manifold an everything else will just bolt on?

yeah it will, but the head has no holes for fuel injectors so that'll need swapping for a 1.6 gti (i think, is 1.5 flat combustion chamber design?)

by the time you've done a head swap, may as well just fit a complete 1.6 gti engine
