* * 16v 2.0ltr abf zx9r carbs advance timing with this?? * *

tonight have bought a set of ZX9R bike carbs for a abf and just trying to still get my head around this advance timing thing???? vacum dizzys, running ecu? ideal i would like carbs bolted on with no vacum pipes as little cables and pipes as poss! i have heard that you need to have advance timing some how to get full rpm range running.

with bike carbs ways to get advance timing are either.
1.run ecu
2.vacume dizzy
3.weighted dizzy??

if vacum dizzy used whats it off how to fit??

really do want to avoid electrics and ecu's where possible.

used zx9s on a abf with out any vacuum advance and had no problems at all think you might be over complicating things dude .who told you you need it mine rev ed out fine

it was just looking through over threads people seemed to run ecu for advance timing?? i want to just bolt carbs on and be away that vacume outlet on manifold? is that just for servo??

yep servo and they are bolt on and go dude you need to drill the jets out and that's it were you getting your manifold from as i sell them if you want one dude not the cheapest tho thanks Paul

well ok  how much are yours? i would probably modify old one to start then once all up and running buy one.
