Annual General Meeting (Marquee) - Saturday
For those of you who are PAID MEMBERS. This is your chance to meet the committee, hear what the club has achieved over the last 12 months and where we think that it will go over the next year. We will be discussing finance, membership subscription, events, the website itself and merchandise. This will be YOUR opportunity to have YOUR say and ask the burning question that?s been in your head!!!
The current committee will stand for re-election and there are some committee positions that have recently become vacant.
If you DO fancy becoming a committee member, please speak to either/both Dano & Lawsy BEFORE the AGM so that they can give you a run down of what each role entails.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting. There may be some questions that can?t be answered there and then and a reply can be made on the forum if necessary. "
Rally Drive out ? Saturday
" Following the successful road rally from Billing Aquadrome, around the local roads of Northamptonshire and back, we thought that it was a good opportunity to do it all over again!!!
This year we will leave Coombe Abbey around 2.00pm on Saturday 25/6/09. We will drive through the Warwickshire countryside to our destination at the Gaydon Heritage Museum where there should be enough time to have a look round the museum or take photographs etc.
For those of you who haven?t been to the museum before, this was the location of the ?First Big One? in 2004 when 147 Mk1 Golfs lined up?. Let?s see if we can beat that THIS time!!!!!
The museum has a large display of cars and is well worth a walk round. There is no rush to return as evening entertainment only starts around 7pm.
It MUST be stressed that this rally ISN?T a race and any drivers who do exceed the speed limit or commit Road Traffic Act offences do so at their own risk AND to other road users. The Club will not be held responsible for your actions.
Evening Entertainment (Main Arena) ? Saturday
Our fantastic Saturday evening entertainment will be held in the marquee and will consist of a mixture of live bands and a local DJ.
