I'm asking that anyone with a camera take it along to the Gathering and take some shots, they don't have to be super arty or in anyway professional, just in focus and hi resolution!
The idea is that we feature the best images in from Coombe in July 2010, giving anyone who didn't go this year an idea of how much fun was had.
Also I need you to start thinking about the calendar in general too so get your cameras out and get snapping those MK1s, the more unusual the better but please make sure they are hi res!
Once the AGM is out of the way we'll be posting up the usual calendar image request thread so do look out for it and get your submissions over to us asap!

I'd say anything about 1700 x 1700 would be fine for it, Tian is your man though really?

might want to give us an idea what is regarded as hi-res for the calendar.
I don't actually, some might think their camera isn't good enough and therefore not enter, the idea is that everyone is encouraged to have a go!
If you really need a guide though I would suggest 3246x2448px @ 72dpi. This will translate to 414x310mm @200dpi.
Although it's traditional to supply 300dpi images most printers will accept a 200dpi file especially if it's for something like this, you simply wont see the difference.
BTW I have based the example on a 6MEG camera and this is ample. I also submitted an image that was accepted in the 2007 Calendar from a 2MEG Canon IXUS which was just and only just okay mainly because I retouched it.
Anything else do ask and don't forget your camera!
