Annual Gathering Kids Pack

As Membership Secretary it's my job to keep all you guys happy. So to try and make sure EVERYONE has a great time I've decided to put together a Kids Pack, parents will know the kind of thing I mean.

I'm keen to encourage the next generation so if you're bringing the family that's great, but can you take a quick minute to let me know what you would like to see included in the pack, nothing too expensive obviously. An idea of the age group your children fall into would be very helpful too.

The sooner you respond the more chance of me adding your suggestion.

Thanks all

T

And just to let you know about the facilities to entertain the children on the general site, there are….

A 'log style' adventure play ground.
A lake side walk that have a number of birds around and on them.
A deer park.
In the cafe building there is a wet land display, shop and cafe with toilet facilities.

I have a 4yr old daughter and I know that I'd be able to entertain her all day with those facilities. (probably just the playground in itself!!!

My lad is 10 years old & potty about cars, so looking at your lots cars will be entertainment enough for him, but he does like drawing cars :)

Thanks for the responses so far, that's great.

Dano, I wasn't aware the site was THAT well equipped and catered so well for families so on the strength of this I'll reign the pack in slightly.

Anybody have any other thoughts on what their kids might like in the pack?

One of those stick lollies would be an idea…. it keeps them quiet for a while cause they can't suck and talk/cry at the same time!!!!  8O

NO WAY MATE!!!!!!!

My youngest had one of these years ago, we were walking around looking at cars and he had it to like you say shut him up! Next thing I know I look down and he's standing there looking up at me, eyes bulging and NO LOLLIPOP!!! He'd swallowed it, stick an all and it was jammed in his throat. I knelt down and almost busted his chest with one big squeeze and it popped out again.

Mate, fist Pauline knew was me collapsed on the ground with him lying on me. I'll hand out sweets but nothing with a stick attached.

I will be bringing my 3yr old daughter, and as long as theres a park, somewhere to kick a ball about and somewhere to muck about generally she will be well catered for - but do us a favour - if theres an ice cream van there can it be hidden in an adult only inclosure!!!!

2 of my 3 will be with me on Saturday ages 6 + 9.
We have always found anything to do with colouring in / reading
a few stickers & you cant go too far wrong really, ooh and sweets
are always a hit  . But it sounds like there will be plenty
to keep them entertained either way.

Great idea btw

Thanks for the positive replies everyone. I know some say you don't usually find kids packs etc at shows but that's part of what makes us different.

If anyone has anymore feedback please do post it up as I intend to put something together asap.
