You asked - We've tried

To help I've boiled down the issues from the 'improvements' thread from last year….

Parking
Mk1 Golf parking for non show n shine owners (in hand)
Non Mk1 Golf parking - VAG (in hand)
Non Mk1 Golf/ VG parking (in hand)

Rally
Better notes (done, thanks CabrioAnna)
Better signage (would they be needed if the notes were better)
Better stop off point (done)
Rally plaques not to be given out as cars leave (give out at half way stop off)
Rally away from housing estates (maybe not!!)
Drive out briefing bfore the AGM (will be done)

Show and Shine
Keep on tarmac/ move to grass (needs to be decided on Friday morning weather dependant)
1 catagory entry per car (agreed)
2 Peoples' Choice award (not viable)
Advance booking for Show and Shine (done)
No non-paid members in the show and shine (that would reduce our numbers further and wouldn't be productive)
Independent judges (sorted for standard - modifed needs to be arranged)

Evening Entertainment
A marquee (not viable, we pay for the buildings so we use them)
Room too big (consideration in hand)
No bar/ want a bar (we aren't having a bar or fridge so folk will have to make their own arrangements for cool drinks)

Showers
Shower block in the camping area (done - better showers have been arranged for the camping area)

Show Clash
Bug Jam clashed with us (we moved and published our date first so avoid a repeat)

Presentations
The winners weren't accurately described so folk knew who won what (better description to be given)
Photograph of all winners together after the event (like 2008)

Hopefully that takes care of your concerns from last year. No doubt there'll be fresh ones this year!!!
