Family 1971 T2 Bay in pictures
Im not gonna write loads on here ill let the pictures do the talking.
Got the T2 last year, it had a brand new rebuilt 1.6 engine but still it broke down, so the air filter was changed aswell as the fuel lines, pump and tank and it runs fine now, mileage is lost in time but its pretty solid.
The interior got completely stripped, all new wood panels were made, its having a new pop top, new seats, new intorior.
It was sent off for paint a few weeks ago.
Hit a problem - the doors dont fit they are from a later t2 i think so are for sale on ebay ( pics below)
Ill let the pictures do some talking…
Scott

That's a class looking bus - I'd love one of these… Well done chap. When I was a wee boy, (long time ago…) we had one of these in that colour, didnt have the pop up roof but had the side vented windows. My dad had a big smile on his face driving it. Loved the engine growl noise out of them. Looking very smart.
