hey all new here but not so new to the car scene. here is my mates cabby tht we are making ready for its mot . its been sat for a while but i will introduce u to her first before i explain our intentions



she has azev 15 inch wheels and sits rather low

firstly to remove the wings to see how bad the damage was we knew it neded some work but god we were in for a shock



drivers side damage very bad



repaired and undersealed



passengerside after



and sat with the other bare shell rebuild project 1978 mini clubman 1275gt and the daily runabout



updates on plans in time but opinions would be nice

yeah it was a strong repair . was surprising how much we had to cut out and replace but its solid now . and my mate wants to do all internals and make her rev allot higher. i drove this car and i dunno whats inside but it goes like a stink

hi all bit of an update today got a few pix first though so u can see al of her



turns out both rear archs rear the rear valance were nakerd so on with making the templates and then the metal to shape and weld in

cut it out first



interior etc



engine bay with engine . may look standard but trust me it is far from it internally



i quite liked this pic as got the other mini project in the background

getting there with passenger side . had to cut out allot more this side

looks like its matt paint



looks a lot worse than it actually is but once ground down and skimmed it will not even be noticable

plans are to get it basically rebuilt with new suspension and brakes then an mot before any major mods.

at the minute its got azev 15x7 wheels with lowered springs

soon with get crossovers etc
