Slow and Steady wins the race ;) Cabby Project
So ive owned my Cabby for only a few weeks now. Since being a member of the site i have been following djrussf1 rebuild. I would love to be able to go into so much detail but as mine is a daily driver i cant . This will be a slow project and will be just little bits at a time.
So last week i cleaned the engine using Gunk degreaser. I did this so that when i want to work on the engine its not covered in oil.
I also found there was a small oil leak and thought this was due to the Rocker cover gasket. So this was changed.
Today i had this turn up!
And this
So i can now replace the rear drums and wheel bearings and raise the car a little as it has been lowered so much its sitting on the roll bar.

Only for about 3 weeks. I used to own a beetle cab a few years ago and another mk1 cabby with my step dad.
What have you got?

Not really many updates as I am in Bristol most of the time, and when I am home am working so an overall lack of time coupled with a major lack of knowledge!!
