Project not a clue :-) (NOW BETTER PICS)

Well here are the first pics of my latest car, 1983 MK1 with KR conversion, I have no daylight pics as yet but here it is…..

I have no idea what my plans for it are other than preventing further rust whilst using it as a daily over the winter but im sure things will progress quicker than i thought as my cars tend to do

Dont know if the previous owner/owners have been on here but would be interesting to know if anyone knows the car (its been living in devon)

yeh i think it was there, it had the plate on the grill so presuming that means it was :-)

more shameless pic whoring of the GTi

nice looks very tidy, think it needs the gti front splitter though otherwise looks awesome

ah i thought it was a gti splitter lol.......new to mk1, whats the difference? is it just larger?

Yeah you have the more shallow CL front spoiler the GTI ones are about twice that width.

Gti splitter would last all of 1 mile before being ripped off. Lol

yeh been thinking that about the gti splitter, the 90mm on the rado was subject to regular replacement and the golf can oly go lower, just need to get a shalow sump or lift the KR up :-)

Hoping to give the wheels a good file down and paint over the next couple of weeks
