been keeping myself busy and using my stitching skills for a bit of good
iv pulled out her door cards and ripped the pods out and iv started to re trim they in a dark grey alcantara
the first pics are of how they looked the last time i trimmed them and with the black drill tamplate
this is the drivers side pod just about done

cab is looking good! lovely colour!!!
and you should prob pop on vwwold and show 'em how to do it too. they could do with a good smack with the mk1 stick. thinking they don't overly appreciate mine… lol.

just been checking the site photos, really nice job of your speaker pods! i am contemplating making some up myself from fibreglass but now i am in two minds after seeing yours.

and from her safe appearance before she is gonna look like a new breed
things yet to go on are chrome trimmed badged grill
lower rad grills
chrome bullet mirrors
new engraved handle inserts
chrome lower sill trims
rear spats
the steels are 8 front 9 rears and are being refurbed silver
changes so far
really happy when the kit came off as the body work is brill
and from her safe appearance before she is gonna look like a new breed

If you need a chrome filler cap let me know I'm not fitting it on my one now as the old/new mix don't work with the clipper kit :-(
