mk1 20vt and mk1 PD

haha    easy mistake

yeah the filter is mounted on the coil bracket that flipped on inside of the scuttle so its all covered when its done,

the studs are for the wheels as I'm converting it to nuts/studs instead of bolts  8)

Sounds good to me mate!  8)

Any reason for swapping to studs? Neater? Stronger?

Nice.

Where did you get the studs and do they do longer for fitting spacers?

Like I said on Facebook mate, Congrats! Was expecting it to start first time though! I would have been worried if it didn't! haha

Why has your camber changed so much because of changing the wheel bolts? I'm confused?? Surely the wheel was always fixed to the hub at the same angle? or am I missing something?

Oh also one more thing while I remember, where did you get your low profile rad fan from? Got a link? what rad did you use and what fan housing?

I am struggling with this as I know the Mk2 item fits but I want it to look good like yours does!

Got a quick question for you mate, I am in the process of sorting out brakes for my car. I have the CQ bias box with hyrdo clutch too and I am looking to get a remote servo like you have to soften the pedal a bit as I am worried it might be a bit scary.

But have you fitted a bias valve on top of the bias bar mounted on your pedal box? I guess this means if you wound the bar on the pedal box towards the back to counteract the increased effort on the fronts from the remote servo it would stop the pedal getting hard again due to the rear master cylinder moving more fluid and therefore meaning a harder pedal. SO you fitted a bias valve to adjust the rear brakes independently of the bias bar? I think that's what you meant earlier in the thread?!

Is that correct? If so what bias valve did you use? and also where did you get your remote servo from?

Cheers!
Joe
