Get it Fixed on a Budget...I wish
Looks fine from there but thats the only side trim it had so it needed that.
Some Bad Stuff
Previous owner may have had battery acid poured over the car?
Horrible Badgeless Grill and Dent
Dent!
Lovely Interior
Thats going to be hard
Now the Turn around
Stone chip paint on top and fibreglass under neath not to fussed really as it doesn't get seen.
Slide Hammer out the dent by the rear light as best we could so needed least filler as possible
Them Gti stickers down the side were not comming off for love nor money so I took the zip wheel to them and got right back to bare metal.
Fibre glassing the boot
Zip Wheeld and Fibre glassd more rust
More recently on the steels as the gti wheels are for sale
After replacing the whole are on the near side I had to patch the off side arch
because of someones really good plating to get it through a MOT
No rot
Thats the furthest I have photo's wise.
I have bought a lowering kit as the suspension was horrible leaking shocks deffo a MOT fail
New Disc's and Pad's
Polybushes for wish bones
Ball Joints
Track Rod Ends
Gti Splitter
Fixing scuttle and getting it all ready for top coat in the next couple of weeks should be going Cherry Red like my old mk2 simular to existing colour but not metalic.
