Rear Anti Roll Bar Bushes

Removal

Good Afternoon, anyone recently removed the rear outer anti roll bar bush? Its split and requires replacing, looks easy, however the securing clamp seems to be a sod to get off, without absolutely belting it with a hammer and drift (which I have done but it's not budged) are there any tricks yous may have to get the retaining clip off the bracket? I'm aware it will be under tension but how much? I'm conscious that I may damage the clip and clamp and I know they are like rocking horse s**t.

Only once in 3 or 4 tries have I managed to remove a set of these without ruining them. can only try heat, good soaking in penetrating fluid, then bash the hell out of them.

ARB Bushes replaced, however the retaining clamps on the outer bushes are pigs to get back on, took me 20 mins to swap the bush out but the clamp wont go back on, tight fit is an understatement, still not done, just cant seem to get it close enough for the securing clip any ideas?:(

Mole grips, you need a couple of pairs, hold the clamp closed, tap the clip on a little then reposition 1 set of mole clips as you work a long the clamp.
It's a right pain to do but is possible, a lot of people replace the clamp with some bolts up types as easier to fit.

Thanks Mark will give it a whirl tomorrow, tried a g clamp but it wouldn't sit right due to the clamp being an awkward shape, frustrating, 2 minute job takes an afternoon!
