Hi there,  I need to replace my lift pump but noticed that the rubber isn't looking too good on the metal piece that sits between the pump and outlet pipe. Tried blowing back through it and it doesn't flow back into the pump so it looks like it's a one way valve. No part numbers on it though, anyone know if it's a replaceable part?

from what i read it isnt a non-retuen valve, i take it you took it off the car before trying it? as you probably wont be able to blow thru the pump itself.

its NLA unfortunatly, part number is 357919133 if it helps. I was pretty sure it was literally just a pipe size reducer, but it may also help with vibration I guess

I've just got a bit of hose between the lift pump and sender, not seen one of those before.
There is a measurement between the lift pump pick up and the sender, it's all in the Haynes manual then I would get some hose and connect the 2 up.
You are also missing the filter on the end of the pump.

If you can, get some fuel hose that is designed to sit inside the tank - often called submersible fuel hose. Ordinary fuel hose degrades because of the ethanol in modern petrol. This happened to me and it killed my lift pump, and has probably shortened the life of my main pump. As Mark says, use the dimensions in the Haynes manual to set the length of hose you need.
