White seats and door cards
My first post on here so please excuse me for what is probably a novice question.
I have a 1984 cab which has been parked up for approx 6 years but now has been brought back to life with a fresh MOT, many thanks to various help from this forum.
What is the correct interior trim and seats as the front and rears have diferent fabric patterns. I believe that the rears are correct and also the front headrests and door card. Not sure on the rear trim card as its not matching the front (maybe they didn't originally).
Once i know what is right for the car i can try to get the correct fabric.
Thanks.

We restore cars so like to try to keep original features where possible, it might not appeal to all but thats how the car was built. However i can't find any fabric the same as the rear centre panels so might need to change it all anyway, can you recommend somewhere to get the fabric from or even a best option for replacement, even the fabric name would help in my search.
Thanks again.

All white edition interior and they were prone to falling apart. I've got a 1983 all white which had same. When I bought it the fronts had been changed but still got the rear bench in my loft. I changed the lot for a USA spec collectors edition interior which is all white and looks the part. In my six years of ownership and hours on the net searching I've not found anyone providing replacement material. I have picked up a few seats with partly good material but nothing to do a refurb.

i have only spent about an hour trying to find the correct fabric but thanks to you message i won't waste time searching, your 6 years of looking is enough to tell me not to bother.
We always try to keep original where possible but it looks like i might just get my trimmer to fix the fabric panels in either white leather or a fabric near to the original style. At least my door cards are all ok.
I will need to replace the hood too but as it's one of many cars that i am restoring (more like hoarding in some cases) that can wait.
Yours does look good in all plain white, many thanks for the photos. Do you have original wheels etc as i could only see the interior?
My daily drive is a Mk7 Golf R so will get some photos alongside that soon, the GTi needs 6 years of grime removing first.
Thanks again

I have got the original white tarantula wheels but they need a refurb so currently have 14" castellets fitted. They do help to break up the white a bit.
oh, pretty…….
I like either wheel, the castellets when stripped and polished to mirrors are oh soooooo pretty, my precious…
I like a triple white, I had one, but I changed the top to black as white tops are a PITA to keep white. I know I bought 2 cabbies after with white tops and a white interior…… which I suspect is why I now have a blue and tan on one of them.

The car looks good with both wheels on it, in fact i think the car is such a great classic that it carries off pretty much anything.
I will definitely look through the brochure section to see if any all whites are in there, probably the best chance to see original factory spec.
Thanks again.
