If you can describe in a bit more detail what jobs your taking on, it will help.
It's hard to advise without knowing for example, are you just cleaning parts in preparation for paint or cutting pieces out etc… and welding in new ones.
If the last applies, is it just panel pieces or chassis members maybe?

See what I mean!
Good luck and the best advice I can give you is one take your time.

Thanks for taking the time to reply! I totally understand what you mean. I want to completely take the paint of the truck and prep it the best I can, I would also like to see about taking the rear wing off and replacing it, so basically the tools amd equipment for all of this? Alot to ask I know :/

For removing paint and not grinding metal away, these are excellent! - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111029769381

It makes a lot of mess and they don't last long but I've not used anything better - you need a 4.5 inch grinder to use them on.

If you're doing the rear wing then you'll need grinding and cutting discs for the grinder, then of course all the MIG welding gear to fit the new one.

Where in Cambs are you?

Hope that helps

I'm just outside Stamford so if you want to shoot over to see what sort of kit you'd need it's no bother ;)

Any grinder similar to THIS will do the job.

Yeah Bosch are good, I've got two - I found doing a full resto it's a pain to keep swapping cutting and sanding discs around so have one for each.

Got mine from Homebase for about 30-odd quid each
