2.0 8v bottom end breathing question

now the bloody thing is nearly finished ,i remember somebody else asking about about the bottom end breathing right on a mk3 golf 2.0 bottom end,do i need to put a filter and catch can in somewhere just to let it breath if so where the best place and best pipe thanks

up to you really, I'd just plumb it into the breather on the head and back to inlet like factory. if you want a catch tank find somewhere suitable for it then run the breathers to it, then either put a filter on the outlet port or run it back to the inlet

Is this the 40mm crank vent on the front of the block? I fitted a core plug in mine and had no issues.
