2.0 16v vacuum lines..

Post

Hey.

So, I had a 1.3 driver and now it's slowly becoming a 2.0 16v (9a).

Block is in and wired up, but I don't have many of the vacuum lines and I'm wondering which ones I need, where to buy them from, and more importantly.. where do they go :D

any help would be great, thanks!

9a on a 9a..

I have a crankcase breather which doesn't seem to connect to anything on the air intake?

I then need the hoses between the servo and manifold- but not sure where else they are supposed to go? does they connect to each other? Haven't got a diagram :/

if you have a 50mm inlet on it that'll be why the breather goes nowhere, on these the breather should go to a nipple between cylinders 1 & 2 and the smaller ones it goes to the 5th injector housing. can just cap both the small breather and the nipple on inlet off, its only for the air shrouded injectors and makes sod all difference that I could notice either on or off.

you then have the chunky hose to the brake servo, theres a pipe here from your mfa clocks if you have them, plus if the 9a ecu has a vac nipple on it you need a pipe from here for that too. Apart from that the nipples can all be blanked.

you may have some nipples on the intake boot and/or throttle body all those can be capped off, the inlet boot ones will be for the warm air feed on the airbox if it has one which again does sod all and the others will be for random valves and carbon canister non of which you will have :)
