1.8t engine choice query

Im having a change of heart as to what im doing with my powerplant. Ive been looking at a 2000 seat leon 1.8t that a mates selling but im not sure if its the right one to use. Will it still use the mounts that I got for the 16v? Does it even sit the right way round?

If its your mates look under the bonnet, but I think they are front wheel drive and same as the golf,s so similar fitment, no the 16v mounts wont do unless you use the 16v gearbox in which case you will only need another engine mount.
