1.8T AWC engine

I have an oppurtunity to buy a 1.8T with AWC engine code ,its going cheap. I just wondered if its suitable for a m.k1 m.k2 conversion before I buy it .Also its a fly by wire throttle should I get the pedal and loom as well ? Thanks folks

Anybody advise on this ?I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow ,but I dont want to buy it if its not suitable .Thanks.

Cheers lads ,I know a lot of people use the AGU ,donor cars are more abundant with this engine code probably. Plus AGU is big port head . What are 1.8T engines going for minus gearbox? Also do I need to get anything else from the car > Thanks again
