Hi all has any one got a shopping list of what to get picked up for a full conversion 1.8 gti convertable to a1.8 t
what is the easiest one for a first timer at this with leaving room to improve at later date gearbox clutch etc any help would be great
I have been thinking about this for years but never had the ba..s to do it

Hi, I am selling parts ive been gathering to do a conversion which is 90% complete .
Mk1 2l TSR G60. .getting. There twice as fast
Mk1 lhd diesel…….getting. There for half the cost

Thanks for that I want to start getting all the bits together first so it does not clear out bank acc be cause when I take out. The engine I want to tidy up the engine bay so was looking to get a list together of what I need and what was the best engine to go for as it's my first engine conversion

I have an AGU engine , loom, turbo, ecu, £450.
Also have :- o2a gearbox, cable change linkage, Rev counter adapter, clutch hydro/ cable adapter, front mount intercooler,
And then when you decide you need more power.
Relentless V3 manifold, track slag 3" downpipe, KO4 turbo, BAM charge pipe, BAM intake manifold, ..
If you wanted the whole lot £1200,
I'd prefer to sell the engine first to make some room won't split it up until after the engine is sold
