1.8 8V Clipper carb exhaust

The one thing I've discovered restoring my clipper is the lack of parts it shares with the tintop, I am guessing you need a different exhaust for the cabriolet due to the floor, fuel tank etc, but have seen jetex systems for sale that say "all cabrio models (not clipper)", can anyone give me advise on this? I'm thinking as the exhaust is starting to blow a nice stainless system would go well with my new weber.

the rear exhaust differs from 84 onwards mk1, im not sure if thats what jetex mean or if its just the clipper kit that they dont fit due to the larger rear bumper on the clipper kit?

Yeah that's what I was thinking, but it only has to clear the bumper which I'm sure it would? Was hoping to hear from anyone who's fitted a system to a clipper
