1.4 16 valve from polo into mk1 wiring help

Hi all, I have recently bought a 1.4 16v off the forum to fit in my mk1 jetta. It's come out of another mk1 so it bolts straight in.
The first issue I have come across is that I have the old style fuse box and require a s2 fuse box. No problem.
i need to know if I will need a full s2 wiring loom to go with it? Cash waiting for both things. Any help much appreciated.
