02a mounting bracket for selectee tower

Hi guys,

Im half way through putting a g60 in my cabby and have come to the gearbox selector tower bit. I've read on here that I need a bracket with the holes side by side off the corrado to bolt any selector tower in. I've found a pic on edition 38 but I can't find the bracket I need. Does anyone on here know the part number?

Is it the bracket for the cables to pull against you mean buddy? Bolts on top of the box at the back? 

I got a box without one of these and went to a scrappy and robbed one off a mk4 

there is two diff brackets. 02a bracket and 02j bracket.if you have the g60 gearbox you have the 02a bracket. me personally the 02a shiffter in car is a no no. what i would advise is get your self a 20j tower of a mk4 ect and fit in your 02a box. also get the 02j bracket as u need this. gt a audi tt short shift and u have the perfect shift. if u need part numbers let me know. u cant use a bracket of a 02a to a 02j tower or a bracket of a 02j to a 02a tower.

Thanks for the info will get buying.

Having played with peterg60 gear shifter last Friday (oooerrr Misses ) I agree that the short shift setup he has is much better than what I have currently.

Pete are you able to post up the part numbers of what I would need to convert my 02a CBA to the 02j setup and then the tt short shift
