What parts will i need for 20v t?
Since my hearts back into the mk1 project (no rust is guna stop me) im thinking into conversions again. I know this q is probably asked alot, but ive set my heart on a 1.8t 20v, aslong as the insurance quotes are not too stupid im thinking bout the conversion, but what exact parts will i need of the donor car? im thinking
ecu, driveshafts, gearbox, loom, engine itsself, passat/vw pedal box? but nt sure about wot else? and what sort of figures you reckon im looking at for everything,
i know im gunna need to move engine mounts and play about with alot of things, must is this a fairly complex job to take on??
cheers boys and girls much appreciated, j

emerald ecu fuels my friends MK2 golf to 456bhp
For around ?550+vat plus roller set up costs its more than up to running a 20vt despite what others say about them.
You can use late cab drive shafts (100mm) and change the output flanges on the 20vt gearbox.
Mod the standard clutch peddle to run a hydro clutch…….
Check out www.vwcaddy.com as there is around a 9/10 page post on a 20vt caddy build, all the info is there, same thing engine bay wise.
