Valve clearance adjusting...

Is it normal fo rthe ball studs to adjust the valve clearance to be realy tight!

When i stripped my spare head down they were VERY tight indeed.......

Yea there are real tight, had hours of fun, and bleeding knuckles stripping them down

Whilst i had the ball studs out i stripped them down, took a while, and cleaned them up also, they moved a little better when adjusting the valve clearances, but they were still bloody tight!

OK, Cheers..

Will bolt the head back up and use a breaker bar.

They're made to be really tight because you don't want them moving and messing up the adjustment…
