How do i bleed the brakes??

Hiya Guys/Gals,

Know this is a bit of a divvy question but how do i go about bleeding the brakes on my MK1 1.1???
Is this an easy task to carry out??

Go to halfords and get an easybleed kit. Read the instructions and you should be fine. They are about ?14 last time i looked  :wink:

Not really - you can get by with some narrow tubing, a jam-jar and a mate to pump the pedal, but it's much harder, and you often find that you need to do it again…

It's like cutting the grass with a shears - you can do it, but a lawnmower is miles easier, and the result looks much better  :wink:
