do i have a ballast resistor? 1.3 GF driver

gonna be fitting an up-rated headlamp loom at the weekend and in the instructions it says to remove the ballast resistor after connecting it all up.

trouble is i don't know if there is one in the 1.3 gf?

any advice?

probably wont have one, its only on later mk1 cab/rocco around 87ish. tintop mk1 wont have them (except later citigolf)
