Scottish Meet - Glenshee

I thought I would take the opportunity to review todays meet and let everyone know how it went.
I think I can safely guess I was the one who travelled furthest to get there - 260miles and what a journey!!
I decided to take the scenic route over the Lecht on which I had a small delay in the form of belly out in a snow drift after losing control of poor old Vera in the ice! Pics to follow once I figure it out. Thanks to the Aberdeenshire police and a couple of kind men to dig me out and push the car back on to the road. 8O
No damage so on I went. When I arrived to find no golfs in sight I was a bit disappointed to say the least. There was a guy from Livingston, Ian,   in his Pug so good on him for turning up! Shotly after Erin arrived in her white cabby thankfully. She thought it was the wrong meeting place! We had a chat and a coffee and all went home again!
Bad thing was, the mini club had a meet there today too and 8 of their cars came. Bet they were having a teeter to themselves with our effort!
bpirie1000 did send his appologies as he had to work but what happened to the rest of you??!!
I will post pics of the 2 cabbies once I get them downloaded. Perhaps we should suggest a re meet in a month or so?? Any ideas? I thought Aberdeen would be a good place to meet.

I drove from Glasgow and couldn't find anyone.
I arrived just after 3. I didn't get home till after 6.
Good run though and car went without a hitch.

Hi folks Im iain aka ebo bit hard to wander up to someone out of the blue an say my names ebo am better known as ebo but i find most folks are like eh? i got 312m by the time i got home! But we came up via pitlochetey to the a93 then continued up to aberdean an down the a90 for the run and we saw a red old reg mk1 gti tin top at the beach!

Oh that's a shame we missed you. Couldn't have been by much cos we left around half 3.  :roll:
