Cultra day out.
Off to a good start by getting the cabby through the mot that morning, then arrived in style by blowing a water hose, lots of steam, lucky it happened when I got there, turns out it was one of the oil cooler hoses so got it off, cut off the split section turned it around and refitted it then filled her with water and washed the coolant off the engine bay.
Thanks to every one who lent a hand and also with tools. Thanks to Lenny for the hose tape, Ivor for tailing me home and the guy in the blue VW van who lent me the vice grips and knife. Got home ok, new hose me thinks.
Picked up a fleet of mini VW vans in the draw LOL
   

Some nice looking motors there, splits v nice, very tidy old white polo too!
