Polished Alloys?

Hello all, I have a set of Rial wheels made for Postert Tuning, as pictured below.  I have made a few enquiries in to having them refurbed (will need some spot welding, and machined I guess to even the wheels out and get rid of the imperfections).  It seems a lot of the local companies won't touch them as they are polished, and they have commented on the future problems of laquering etc….basically they just want to powder coat them…..I have had a quote from Lepsons for £320 plus VAT, and they will look at restoring them.  Any one had any experiences with refurbing polished wheels and suggestions for where to take them (I am based in Kent but as they are not on my Clipper, I am happy to send them away)

Thanks guys!!  Have realised since they are diamond cut not polished, so now have another dilema of whether to keep 'em cut or not……they do look cut I have to say but I know the finish doesnt last long!!!
Spit and polish have quoted £50+ VAT per wheel, to have them diamond cut and refurbed.  Not bad I don't think….

Thats not a bad price and i believe they do a good job from previous reports. They are going to be doing my wheels in the new year (tarantula white alpine). they will also fit the tyres if you want them too, which I am getting done as if they scratch the wheel it's there problem.

i just wanna add that i love diamond cut rims!!!

i have a rivage and when i got mine they were diamond cut (not in the best conditions) but the bling i prefered.

i now have a set on which is highly polished, its nice and im also gonna polish em more.

but i would rather prefer the diamond cut back on mine.
