harsh suspension

i have just brought new coilovers as my other ones were shot they are fk so not cheap ones and i am running bbs rz with 165/55 tyres the problem is when i hit a small pot hole there is a very harsh bang and sounds like its going to rip my wheel off and sounds like its damageing something would anyone have any idea ?

What bumpstops are on the coilovers? Your own or factory set?

Ok,  as they are factory set wont be bump stops then. Who fitted Coilys? They may just be a harsh ride mate. I know you said you spent abit and they are Fk's, whats the model?

i fitted the coilovers i just fitted the coilovers and the and new top mounts and they are fk highsport

I've got ap coilovers, 165 tyres on a 7j wheel and the ride is as you described! I have bought softer springs and will be fitting 185 tyres to try and get the comfort back in the ride!
