FRONT ANTI ROLL BAR ONTO 1.3
Hi everyone
My daily driver is a 1.3 CL with 9 spoke alloys, 175/70R13 tyres, standard height. 8)
I'd like to get a more positive ride, on a tight budget.
Are 40mm lowering springs on original struts worth it? :?
Will a GTI anti roll bar fit onto a small block car? I know I'll have to drill or change the wishbones; But will it fit around the exhaust? :?
Has anyone got springs & an ARB to sell?

No problems with the ARB's front or rear. Mine has quite a large downpipe and still clears the bar by an inch. Don't fit the front bar on it's own, similarly the rear bar is quite a handfull without the front. Good for sliding around roundabouts! Don't go too low, the suspension has the best geometry when the outer ball joint is just below the inner bushes, i.e. around standard ride height. Mine is a road rally car, so I need the ground clearance anyway. It handles great on 185/60x14's.

Hi
Most of my journeys are country roads, small towns and villages. Not much dual carrageway or motorway. I think I'll fit front AND rear ARB's and think about lowering later.
Thanks for your replys.

hi yeah don't fit just one roll bar you need to do front and rear, it will upset the handeling of the car.
