So this is my other project. A very rare Mini Lamm. 1 of 75 and currently bring rebuilt. Should be finished Summer 19 ;-)
Also my London Taxi Photobooth… another lump of British metal which struggles to survive since getting wet a few times :-(

Re:
So… the Mini was owned by a girl I knew in the late 90s. At the time it wasn't seen as anything special as Minis were everywhere.
She parked it outside her parents in 2003 when she bought a bigger car. It was bought by her Dad (big mini fan) so she didn't want to sell it. Just didn't have a plan for it.
Sadly her Dad died in 2004 after a long period of Ill health.
The car didn't move for 16 years and she asked me if I wanted it (also a big mini fan).
I gave her what she was offered in scrap (she didn't want more, just for the car to be brought back to life).
I have agreed to restore it and let her have another drive with her 2 boys, keen for them to know what car grandad liked). I have also given them some classic mini stuff so they know what they are.
Lots of rust and work required but it will be back on the road as planned ;-)
I got it started… so engine is good which was a concern. Only 32k miles. 2 owners from new a gem!
