i have been told that they paint blocks different colours when they have been recon'd… not sure if that is the case here though.
i have ordered some of this stuff to paint it with anyhoo should look like new when its done
also ordered one of these to top it off haha
any ideas on what colour to do the rocker cover? its going the same as the body but if anyone has any good ideas?

The vht paint is good stuff, I've been using it. Has a good spray nozzle you can use quite accurately and lightly, even for a dumb fingered oaf like me

thanks lads, after fitting the pistons, crank etc i left it standing while i worked on the head.
unfortunately i didnt notice the oil running out the random holes and down the side of the block, which has now turned the paint green . doh!!
head should be back any day now, then i can build it back up and put it in
